Years ago, it was common for families to keep track of births, marriages and deaths in the family Bible.  Often times a printed notice from the newspaper would also be slipped between the pages.  That information can be a lifesaver to the family historian! It isn’t surprising that someone had the foresight to start Bible Records Online to help preserve thousands of family Bibles for generations to come.

As of this writing they have 1158 Bibles available and that number is growing.  Have and look and if you are the historian for your family with the old family Bible, consider sharing it for future generations.
