I haven’t stumbled upon any ancestors of the Jewish faith in my family tree, however, I’m sure there are many folks out there that do have Jewish roots.  Today I decided to do a little digging to see what resources were available to researchers tracing Jewish lines.

My first stop was JewishGen, an affiliate site of the Museum of Jewish Heritage.  The site has many databases and tools to help the Jewish genealogist, as well as the impressive Holocaust database that contains more than 2.4 million entries of victims and survivors alike.

This is a very impressive site, not just for Jewish researchers, but for those interested in Jewish history and the Holocaust.
